Since the original KDE 2 widget-theme tutorial from Mosfet seems to be lost, I have put a copy of it on this server. Using this tutorial you can create your own pixmap themes.
Additonal steps to make a theme available to ZStyle (I have written a small script that builds an ipk package from a KDE 2 theme tar.gz, which works with most themes):

• copy the .themerc file to $QPEDIR/plugins/styles/themes
• copy the pixmaps to $QPEDIR/plugins/styles/pixmaps/<name of theme>/
